NETS-I: Facilitate and Inspire Student Learning and Creativity

Question #4 in NETS-I Facilitate & Inspire Student Learning and Creativity section in the School 2.0 Survey, it recommended that I look at the article, "Top 10 Web 2.0 Tools for Young Learners"by Chris Riedel in 2009. What I've learned from the article is that according to Gail Lovely, an education technology consultant, created a top 10 list of technology tools to aid young students. At No. 10, Kerpoof is a site for creative tools for animation, drawing, and movie creation. No. 9, Voki, is an application for a text to speech generator. No 8, Create-A-Graph is a web-based tool for graphing fundamentals. #7 is called Yack Pack, which is an internet based voice communication tool, which acts as a voicemail for the web. #6, Animoto, is a presentation generator, #5 is Skype, free voice and video calling. At No. 4, Glogster, is a web page for media links, sound, andvideo capabilities. No. 3, Voicethread, allows us to upload images and add comments. At No. 2, Blogs allow us to reach out to the community. Finally, at No. 1, Wikis acts as a versatile blog.
