Welcome to my About Me page, where you are going to read a little about me! My name is Brenda Hazen, and I am from Murrieta, CA. I was born and raised in Escondido, CA until I moved to Murrieta in 1998. I went to Rincon Elementary School for two years, then I transferred to North Broadway Elementary in Esco for my remaining elementary school. In Murrieta, I spent my middle school years at Thompson Middle School and I graduated high school at Murrieta Valley High School, and then I attended Palomar College in San Marcos and I recieved two AA degrees- not intentionally. I am currently enrolled in the BS Mathematics program at Cal State San Marcos and I am really hoping to be a great trigonometry teacher some day!
The CSUSM/ COE Mission Statement means to me how I can be an active participant in our society by engaging in principles of educational equity and social justice. I want to be part of our community by working in a classroom that is anti-racist and multicultural, and by becoming an effective professional who engages in life-long learning!
Hello Brenda!
ReplyDeleteI too went to Thompson as well as graduated from Murrieta Valley. What year did you graduate? I am envious of your mathematics skills! You couldn't pay me enough to major in anything math related! I look forward to getting to know you better throughout the semester!
I live a city away from you (Temecula). Is it just amazing how both Murrieta and Temecula grew over the years? I don't own a mac too, they are just too expensive! :( nice meeting you!
